About LDC Training


LDC training has been providing training primarily to the financial services industry since 2004. Eimear Barry's experience combines a background in psychology and development with many years working in training & development and Human Resources within Financial Services. Her experience encompasses management development, coaching and internal consultancy, She has been actively involved in the Irish Funds Industry Association and served as Chairman of the HR & Training Committee. Prior to setting up LDC, Eimear's last position was Head of Learning and Development with JP Morgan (European Mutual Fund Services). She holds a Degree in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. She is a Member of the British Psychological Society, a Fellow of the Irish Institute of Training and Development and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She also co-authored a book on workplace communication entitled "Talking The Talk" which was published in October 2004.

Eimear is also a strong advocate of individuals enhancing their well being and happiness through developing their emotional intelligence. Eimear provides training programmes, workshops and coaching in this area. She is an accredited Bar-On EQ-iģ Assessor.
